Galil 47 build - stamped receiver

Recently at Kalashbash Texas 2020 and 2021 we were able to hook up with @galil_hub , @ikonweapons & @photogenicfirearms , who took and posted some live action videos on Instagram of our prototype getting its legs stretched. In addition to those videos, we have posted several pictures of @galil_hub ‘s rifle as a work in progress, test firing, and a completed. Some of you were able to see the magic firsthand as we had two different models/builds on our table. If you are on Instagram look them up and check out the videos and pictures. Needless to say everyone who had the chance to run our prototype had a huge smile on their face, and from the looks of it we made a huge impression on the first production model as well. There was one lucky Kalashbash 2021 guest who won a Childers guns Galil 47 receiver with our trunnions already riveted in. As part of the prize we included our building and finsihing services.

We rigorously tested our prototype trunnions in 2 dealer post sample guns, we stopped counting rounds at 3,500 and just kept on shooting and loading magazines. All of the testing was done in select fire. We tried to kill them, and they just kept on going. On our trunnion pre order page in the store is a detailed break down of materials and heat treating specifications for both trunnions. We will be offering these as a set, and the rear trunnion indicidually. In addition we will be offering build services with your supplied kit or one of ours. These are exciting times for Galil and Kalashnikov aficionados and we are equally excited to be bringing it to you. There are 8, soon to be 9 of these rifles in existence. But now the game has changed and whether you’re a home/garage builder, or another manufacturer like us, it’s now a reality that is being brought to all fans of the AK and Galil.
